The Xperience is a third-person football game. The gameplay is very similar to the gameplay in the Madden series. You can run the ball or pass it by choosing your play that you think can get by the defensive line. As for defense, you can choose between pass block plays, run block plays, or blitz plays. Quickplay mode allows you to quickly choose what team you want to play as and what team you want to challenge. It doesn't go toward your XP. Franchise allows you to choose what team you want to use to play a whole season. You can choose one team and one rival team. Each time you win a game your XP will boost. When you lose a game, your XP only boost a little bit. If you make it to The Fatal Four, you have to go against the top 3 teams. Once you finish all 3 teams, you must defeat the championship team, "The Bulldogs".
